Jesus Adorno
To many regular customers Jesus Adorno is the “face” of Le Caprice, having first started working here on the day it opened in 1981. Jesus had arrived in London as a young student from Bolivia ten years earlier and gained experience in the top London restaurants of the seventies, such as Frederick’s in Camden Market, and Inigo Jones and L’Opera in Covent Garden.
For the past 16 years, Jesus has been a Board member of Caprice Holdings, and as well as ensuring the consistency at Le Caprice he has been responsible for re-launching the standards of Daphne’s, Chelsea, and for training at Daphne’s Barbados.
His interests include photography, travel and writing, and he supports the work of Friends of Bolivia, which generates charitable funds for educational opportunities for under-privileged youngsters in his native country.
