The role would ideally suit a high-energy individual looking to further their career in event catering. Experience in the industry is essential with at least 3 -5 years experience, process excellent food and drink knowledge and has worked extensively with luxury brands.

Duties:

  • Produce creative food and beverage concepts, which express the Urban Caprice contemporary signature style of extraordinary events with the most luscious food in London
  • Prepare client proposals: creative & financial elements
  • Monitor and control of catering budgets, ensuring adherence to budget limits and reconciling all catering expenditure
  • To schedule, budget and liaise on all aspects of the project management
  • To work closely with the Kitchen team to fulfil all logistical requirements
  • The organisation and presentation of client food tastings
  • Ordering of all drinks and equipment hire.
  • Liaising with the staffing coordinator with regards to booking catering team
  • Overseeing the catering team on site:
  • Health and Safety management

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in event catering or related field with an excellent knowledge of food, beverage and service styles.
  • Proven budget management skills
  • Excellence in written and oral presentation skills
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Computer literacy

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Apple Mac, administrative including Word, Excel, Filemaker Pro, e-mail and the internet
